STRUCTURAL STEEL: Worcester County Welding, Corp. specializes in structural steel fabrication for industrial, commercial and residential buildings. Our state of the art fabrication shop is well equipped with multiple overhead cranes, CNC drilling/punching machinery, 260 ton press brake, 10 ft plate shear, high capacity band saw, pipe bender/shape rollers, SMAW/Tig/Mig welders etc. We are certified by the American Welding Society (AWS) to comply with it’s requirement and qualifications for all phases of structural steel welding. Our shop welders are certified for structural steel AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5 and ASME Sect. IX. Whether the job calls for W4 or W44, beams and columns, bar joists or long span trusses, we have the equipment, the experience and the personnel necessary to efficiently fulfill all of the requirements of each customer's needs.
FIELD ERECTION: Worcester County Welding, Corp. has been the successful erector on various types of projects ranging in size and complexity. Worcester County Welding, Corp. partners with Central Mass Crane Service Inc. ( www.centralmasscrane.com ) to provide superior field erection services to our customers. MISCELLANEOUS METALS: Worcester County Welding, Corp. has experience fabricating numerous OSHA compliant miscellaneous metals products from carbon steel, aluminum and stainless including:
- Handrails and Guardrail of various designs.
- Stairs: Straight Run, Grating Type, Scissor, Ornamental & Helix.
- Ladders: Elevator ladders, Ship’s ladders, Ladders with Cages.
- Site Work Steel: Lintels, Bollards, Embedded items.
- Elevated Roof Frame Platforms, Mezzanines, Catwalks, Fire Escapes, Customized Grating.
DETAILING: Worcester County Welding, Corp. is staffed with in-house miscellaneous metals and structural steel detailers. Our professional detailers can quickly be on site to take accurate field measurements for all types of customized projects. With our state of the art 2D and 3D detailing software, we are capable of quickly producing high quality drawings that can be e-mailed directly to engineers and architects for approval. Upon receipt of approved drawings, we can generate automatic CNC files from the detailing software that are downloaded into our automated fabrication equipment.
